Dr.
Bart J. Leger has been helping people
recover from trauma related crisis through counseling
and education for the past 28 years. He has served
various churches in Alabama and Louisiana, spent
many years in the business sector and for the
last 10 years has served in fire services and
law enforcement in various capacities. Dr. Leger
has also provided consulting services to over
300 schools throughout the United States.
Dr. Leger has received certifications
as a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress
from the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic
Stress, Board Certified Pastoral Counselor from
the American Association of Christian Counselors/International
Board of Christian Counselors, and Certified Senior
Chaplain with the International Conference of
Police Chaplains.
Dr. Leger is Co-Founder of CORE4,
LLC, providing multi-component wellness education
and program management and consultation for business,
industrial and first responder organizations.
These services include Stress Management, Training
and Education, Consultation, Psychological First
Aid, and grief recovery utilizing Emotional, Physical,
Nutritional and Spiritual components. He also
serves as a P.O.S.T. Certified Deputy Sheriff
in the Enforcement Division as well as Chaplain,
lead trainer and educator for Southern Law Enforcement
Foundation, a law enforcement CISM team for the
state of Louisiana, and law enforcement academy
instructor.
Dr. Leger is available for speaking
engagements and his organization is prepared and
available to assist with crisis response and training.
