David W. Powers is a Minister, Author, and Crisis Counselor who focuses on helping people return to normal following a traumatic event. He maintains an office in coastal South Carolina, but frequently travels for lectures or to visit disaster sites. He has authored over 150 books and articles in national consumer magazines and peer-reviewed medical journals. He conducts frequent workshops, lectures, and presentations. Mr. Powers is a veteran of the Marine Corps, Army, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security with over 15 years experience in Emergency Medical Services. He lives in Surfside Beach, SC with his wife and son.
