Dr.
Randolfi is a professor in the Department
of Health and Human Performance at Montana State
University in Billings, Montana. He teaches courses
in Methods of Health Promotion, Technological
Applications in the Health Sciences, Healthy Behavior
Theories, Drug and Alcohol Education, Health Science
Research, Worksite Health Promotion and Stress
Management & Emotional Health. He has previously
taught at Ohio University and Syracuse University
where he coordinated the graduate and undergraduate
programs in school and community health education.
Dr. Randolfi is a health promotion consultant
with his company, Optimal Health Concepts. Through
this company he has successfully coordinated over
a million dollars in tobacco and drug prevention
grants. Other consulting contracts are primarily
in the area of stress management and employee
health promotion for small and large companies.
In 2004 he worked in Cyprus for 7 months as a
Fulbright scholar providing professional training
in the area of drug prevention. A year later he
was asked to return to the island in response
to an airline tragedy and the need for continuing
education for counselors, doctors, teachers and
public health workers on post traumatic stress
disorders.
Dr. Randolfi has written numerous articles in
professional journals and has presented at national
and international conferences on: Stress Management,
Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Drug Prevention
Programming, Health Behavior Change Strategies,
Worksite Health, Men's Health Issues, and Technological
Applications in Health Promotion. His active scholarly
agenda resulted in a Faculty Achievement Award
from Montana State University-Billings and students
at Ohio University selected him as an outstanding
university professor for his teaching ability.
Due to his research and work in employee health,
Dr. Randolfi was selected as a Fellow of the Association
of Worksite Health Promotion and he currently
serves on the National Certification Commission
for the National Association of Alcohol and Drug
Addiction Counselors.
