Rabbi Dr. Lisa Bensinger has
been serving as a trauma and healthcare chaplain
for eleven years. Her work is quite diverse
from working in cancer/stem cell transplant
units, burn centers and eventually the Family
Assistance Center following the attacks from
9/11 in New York. Rabbi Bensinger, serving as
a chaplain for the American Red Cross Spiritual
Aviation Incident Response Team held the first
memorial service with a grieving family at Ground
Zero. She has specialized in developing a study
of spirituality related to neurology subsequently
taught to neurologists, healthcare workers and
chaplains. Rabbi Bensinger was chosen as the
2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century
in the field of Thanatology and Group Dynamics.
She has also recently been awarded a honorary
Ph.D. from Breyer State University in the same
above field. One of her specialties is leading
bereavement groups and teaching group dynamics
to caregivers.

Life Changes
This workshop takes a serious look
at all life changes whether illness, accidents, moving,
job transfers, new baby, loss of independence and views
them as transformational grief. In addition it outlines
quality care that assists in working through these adjustments.
New Agenda Oriented Chaplaincy
The workshop addresses how family,
friends and professinal care-givers can assist those
going through traumatic healthcare problems and other
chaplain related care by using Game Theory, Neurolinguistic
Programing and theories of cooperation,
