Terrance M. Tucker holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from The Citadel and obtained his Masters degree
in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
He has done program and policy development work
for a Fortune 500 company, a large health care
organization and an academic publishing company.
In addition, he has ten years combined law enforcement
experience with the Santa Barbara, CA and Cincinnati,
OH Police Departments. He has worked in the
areas of patrol and narcotics and completed
his work in law enforcement as a Sergeant with
the Cincinnati Police Department.
Terrance was also a member of the Cincinnati
Police Department's SWAT Team, where he functioned
as a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator. He has trained
with the FBI Hostage Negotiation Team and completed
the John E. Reid & Associates Interviewing
and Interrogation Basic and Advanced Courses.
Terrance is Board Certified in School Crisis
Response by The American Academy of Experts
in Traumatic Stress and is also a member of
the American Society of Industrial Security.
Terrance is the President and Founder of Summit
Organizational Solutions, L.L.C. which has provided
safety and security consulting services to schools
in the Southwest and Midwest. His company, which
is based in Houston, Texas, specializes in developing
customized comprehensive safety and crisis management
plans for independent Pre-K through 12 grade
schools, conducting campus security assessments
for improving the physical safety and security
of the school, and training school administrators
in how to respond to a critical incident on
campus.

Workshops, Presentations
and Seminar Topics
The Seven Critical Tasks Workshop
The Seven Critical Task was orignally
established for emergency responders. In this workshop,
school administrators will learn how to implement the
seven critical tasks to mitigate a critical incident
that occurs on campus.
Crisis Training for School Administrators
In this training members of a school's
administrative management team will be provided with
an informal and stess free program designed to facilitate
the testing, evaluation and practicing of the school's
crisis response plan and the promotion of group problem
solving among the members of the administrative team.
