Warren L. Dale is a fellow
of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic
Stress. In 1986 he helped to start the Peninsula
Conflict Resolution Center. He has provided
training in conflict resolution and mediation
for schools, humanitarian groups, and governmental
agencies while making over 40 trips to Bosnia
and Kosovo. He has also conducted trauma recovery
training in Santa Barbara after their fire,
New York after 9/11, El Salvador, and Colima
after their earthquakes. He has been collaborating
on a trauma recovery and reconciliation project
with street kids and child soldiers in Angola.
He also has conducted training in trauma recovery
and violence prevention for police chaplains
working with the Benoni Rape Crisis Center in
South Africa. More recently he has conducted
trainings for volunteer coordinators, churches,
and mental health clinics in the Gulf Coast
area of Hancock, Jackson, and Harrison Counties
of Mississippi and throughout the hurricane
affected area of Louisiana.
Dale Warren has authored Helping Children Cope
with Stress, Cumulative Stress and Traumatic
Stress (2001); Trauma and the Disabled Child
in Challenge and Hope, World Vision Publication
(1999 and The Value of Post-Trauma Care in Emergency
Response, Western Cities Magazine January, 1991.

Workshops, Presentations
and Seminar Topics
Workshops: Providing Traumatic
Stress Recovery: This workshop provides a CISM
and cognitive model for responding to all levels of
shock, impact, and post traumatic stress phases.
Self Help Group Recovery:
This workshop provides training and skill building in
traumatic stress recovery through the use of self help
groups adaptable to short and long term recovery issues.
Community Trauma Recovery:
This workshop provides training in developing trauma
recovery responses on three levels: immediate response,
volunteer interaction and the two phrase model of listening
to stories, and training and organizing the highest
level of needed recovery through mental health services.
Care for the Care Giver:
This workshop provides training in how to prepare for
involvement in traumatic situations, self care and team
defusing, and re-entry to the world for professionals,
para professionals, and volunteers
