WORKSHOPS, PRESENTATIONS AND SEMINAR TOPICS AND DESCRIPTIONS

Stress Management in the Workplace
This seminar discusses how stress deteriorates the fabric of our health and, if unrecognized and untreated can lead to loss.

Acute Traumatic Stress Management
Based on Dr. Lerner's Acute Traumatic Stress Management Model, this workshop empowers participants to look beyond the physical and safety needs of people and also address emergent psychological needs.

Comprehensive Emergency Management
This seminar / workshop discusses, in detail, the activities in each phase of emergency management based on the Emergency Manager's Toolkit, FEMA. Each of the four phases are discussed and activities are planned around each phase.

Combat Fatigue
This training is designed for those who work with our nation's service members (currently on active duty, reserve status or veterans) and who want a better understanding of the effects of combat stress (both direct and indirect) and how these effects of stress can isolate and or destroy the service member's ability to function. The emphasis is on learning the signs and the ability to understand the dark feelings of war-time stress.

Anger Management... Who's in Control?
This workshop discusses the aspects of anger, its origins, its chemical effects, and a biblical approach on taming the internal enemy. Role playing, sharing of ideas and experiences and key concepts to anger management and control are covered.
