Dr. Hector B. Crespo-Bujosa:
Since very young Dr. Crespo-Bujosa learned from
his parents to share and offer aid to those
in need. As he grew up he became a member of
the counseling students at his school. In 2001
he obtained a B.A. in Social Sciences from the
University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.
Then, in his pursuit of more knowledge on how
to understand human behavior he joined Carlos
Albizu University where he obtained a B.S. in
Psychology, Magna Cum Laude from in 2003. In
2005 he acquired a Master’s degree in
Clinical Psychology with Distinction. In 2007
he became an adjunct professor at Carlos Albizu
University lecturing on Physiological Psychology
to undergraduate students. Throughout the course
he emphasizes the importance of brain and behavior
relationship as part of understanding traumatic
events as well as integral part of the therapeutic
processes. He has also received training in
CranioSacral therapy and Somato-Emotional Release.
In 2008 he obtained the degree of Doctor in
Clinical Psychology, with Distinction.
During his pre-doctoral internship he was
able to merge Clinical Psychology, his vocation
and his passion Neuropsychology, to offer aid
to those in need of strategies to cope with
traumatic events, anxiety, and other emotional
afflictions. By integrating Bio and Neurofeedback
with cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, insight-oriented
psychotherapy and spirituality, he offered an
integrative treatment to serve one purpose...
“Improve the quality of life of human
beings”.
At present, Dr. Crespo-Bujosa, continues lecturing
and teaching his students not only on the importance
of the relationship of physiology and conduct,
but on the sensibility our World needs to live
more peacefully. He also looks forward to continue
cultivating his vocation as a clinical psychologist
and aid humanity.
