Rhiannon Brwynn Thomas, Ph.D., Founder & President of the International Center for Resilience & Human Determinism is a licensed psychologist, clinical neuropsychologist. She is board certified in behavioral medicine, traumatic stress, illness trauma, and is a practitioner of EMDR. She is a Diplomate of the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling & Psychotherapy, for which she serves on the Accreditation Review Panel. She is invited faculty of the Emotional Intelligence Training & Research Institute, invited affiliate faculty of the Resiliency Sciences Institute International, and has been a Certified Trainer for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. She holds Certificates of Specialized Training in mass disaster, terrorism, and emergency services, as well as in resilience/resilient leadership, and in assessment/development of emotional intelligence. She has been accepted to the Psychology Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and has served as a clinical member of the Broward County Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Team. Dr. Thomas received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with special concentration in Clinical Neuropsychology and Behavioral Medicine from the Union Institute & University. Her research findings are published in Empathy in the Treatment of Trauma & PTSD (Wilson & Thomas, 2004) a co-authored publication in the Brunner-Routledge Psychological Stress Series. She is an alumnus of the Fielding Graduate University’s APA endorsed Post-Doctoral Certificate Program in Neuropsychology. She completed post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology at Nova South Eastern University, under supervision of Dr. Charles Golden; and completed specialized training in Behavioral Medicine at the Harvard Mind/Body Medical Institute. Dr. Thomas has a vast interest in Cognitive Archeology, Neuropsychology of the Ancient Mind, as well as the nexus of Quantum Physics and Archetypal Mind.
